I very much enjoy this season over the last 2 seasons. There is no CGI and it is completely hand-drawn which is very good (the CGI was trash in the last two seasons). The 2D animation I feel is pretty good, I had a bit of whiplash getting used to the new style but once you do it feels like a huge improvement over the last two seasons. As for the story, it appears this season will be covering the Coalition Arc. As a manga reader, I can tell you this is one of the best arcs in Kingdom,if not the best. It was very tense having the outnumbered protagonists face off against the enemies who vastly overwhelm them. I won't get in too much as that would spoil it, but it will be a good season if they do everything well.
