Bleach: Can't Fear Your Own World · review
BLEACH: Can't Fear Your Own World is an interesting three-novel story that every die-hard fan should read. WHAT I LIKED: -The books introduce new concepts and characters, and develops those that were never really explored, such as the Noble Houses, the Tsunayashiro Clan and even Shikai / Bankai never seen in the manga / anime before. -There are some cool character illustrations drawn by Tite Kubo that make the novels easier to read. -The way the story tells you about Shuhei Hisagi, the main character, is original and hits different from any other story from the Bleach franchise. I personally think that the storytelling of the books fits Shuheia lot, considering that he and Ichigo have a lot of differences.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
-A lot of the vocabulary, concepts and similar stuff from the manga that the fans are familiar with are explained over and over. Because of this, some fragments from the books are more tedious to read.
-The books are only available in English and Japanese, which makes reading them harder for non-English and non-Japanese speakers...
CONCLUSION:
-If you love Bleach, the Can't Fear Your Own World novels are a must-read. You should give these books a chance even if reading light novels is not your thing.
