Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter · review
This series contains many tropes and genres most people generally do NOT like but if you can get past it I would say it is a worthwhile read. The switch up from this series is quite drastic going from a simple narrowed scope of view of a single family house then zooming out for it to just become a city in the 4th volume. Obviously if most readers don’t want to read 4 volumes of generic fantasy-harem slop well, then this series would not be for you at all, but if you CAN then the story really takes off and starts building and building upon detailsgiven throughout the story which is very neat.
The main part of the story that keeps me coming back is basically just the fantasy world where it’s set in the main character is your typical dense op hardheaded protagonist but the charm is where the conflicts arise (it’s like a hero story) and the detailed filling outs of the world where there is a well thought out history behind it.
All in all I wouldn’t recommend this to most people unless you really like the whole fantasy-harem genre but if your willing to read a series that has high potential but has a beginning equivalent to how bad the second season of shield hero was then give it a try!
