This first volume is purely world setting and character introductions, which is not a complaint at all. the story starts by explaining a short history of this worlds beginnings, they tell it in a way that is easy follow without bombarding the reader with overwhelming amounts of info. Characters are introduced smoothly and all have very distinct characteristics. there is some foreshadowing towards how the story will progress which has peaked my interest, so i will be continue reading however i think i will wait for more volumes to release as it seems like the the plot will progress at a leisurely pace.
