Thoroughly enjoyed this manga overall. The action, comedy, and premise of the story hooked me from the beginning, even as someone who doesn't enjoy alcohol as much as the main cast, and clearly the author, does. The story is whimsical in general, with the shenanigans the cast goes through to get the many different kinds of drink popular during the post war era. The characters are intriguing (i mean, Al Capone as an anti-hero is the last thing i expected from manga) and are well developed and likeable, the action segments are great, and the art is stylized and serves the story well. I wouldrate this higher if it weren't cut short, but it's an approachable manga that's worth spending a day to finish.
