Another: The Other · review
Quite an interesting prequel. We get to see the twin sisters’ bond and how they spend time together. However, after those peaceful moments, Misaki Mei, with her mysterious abilities, begins to sense that something is wrong and that something bad is going to happen to her sister. The story was engaging — I’d rate it 9/10. The music adds a lot to the atmosphere, and the storytelling remains consistent throughout. It’s not as scary as the main series, but it captures the same vibe very well. In this prequel, Mei also gets to know her school friend, Kouichi. Overall, it adds more emotional depth to thecharacters and helps better understand Mei’s personality and her connection to the main story.
