Review of Detroit Metal City

First off, I didn't know what to expect from Detroit metal city (DMC) but gave it a chance and am glad I did. the story is about Negishi, moving to the city of Tokyo to become a popular musician who also loves Swedish pop and green tea but due to some circumstances becomes the fronting man of a death metal band, as Krauser II. Negishi actually despises death metal and his band DMC even more wanting to constantly quit but cant due to other sub components. Negishi is often misunderstood and in this situation it works out hilariously. His manager is a vulgar character oftenswearing in English followed by saying shes "wet" and yes i do mean in the sexual way. You may not be a fan of the art style but everyone has there own preferences. For the time allocated on these OVA's there isn't much character building but it shows that each individual possesses a unique personality. It's only a shame that there was 12 OVA's running for 13 mins but I wouldnt have it any other way.

If you are looking for something new to binge watch then give DMC a try you may just like it. Btw the music is well composed, appropriate for an anime about "music".
