Review of School Days

Well, if there is one thing I can say about School days, it's that I have never despised a main character as much as I despise Makoto. I will talk about the ending in this review. However, I will not go into ANY details of what happens, though you MIGHT be able to assume what happens by reading this. Story: 2/10 The premise of the show is pretty interesting, though the execution falls short because of the terrible character personalities and questionable decisions when it comes to "character development". Art: 8/10 I really dig this artsyle, so I don't have much to complain about here. The character designs are somewhatbland, especially that of the main character. But Sekai is waifu material, at least in artistic design.
Also, practically no oversized boobs in this anime, so that's a plus. The uniform design is also fairly neat.

Sounds: 6/10
Again, nothing to complain about. And I guess the sound complements the scenes somewhat, so I'll give it an above average rating here.

Characters: 1/10
The characters in this show are mostly pathetic and devoid of any personality. At least the dynamic between the main cast was interesting for the first 3 episodes. The execution just rolls downhill after that, unfortunately.

Enjoyment: 4/10
I found myself enjoying the first few episodes of the show, but my enjoyment steadily descreased after I started hating every single character. I watched this anime until the end in hopes of seeing the main character get what's coming to him. Though it's a bit exaggerated, it is a fairly believable ending, if we know anything about human nature.
Overall, the show failed to maintain my suspension of disbelief.

I guess the show is not totally forgettable, even though most aspects I'll probably remember are not very good ones. There is an interesting premise here, at least.
