Review of Casshern Sins

Casshern Sins. This could of been a great anime series, but settled for mediocrity. This series is based around a Mega-Man type idea. You have robot hunter Casshan or Casshern, with a robot dog, and a princess to save or find rather Luna. The story in itself is solid and is the bright spot in this series with good characters and character development. The sound is decent and adds to the rustic mood and atmosphere of this series. If there is one word to describe this series it would be, rusty. The machines are rusting over and can anyone repairthem, does anyone care. Enter Princess Luna she can fix everything, but probably no. The art is sub-par or decent at best. The robots look like rag dolls in fights as someone else noted. NOTICE! I even watched this in Blu-ray. The art doesn't hurt the enjoyment much, but in retrospect it hurts the overall score.

The enjoyment comes from the story and characters, while flawed are still good. I really like the rusty cyberpunk vibe.
