Review of Bakemonogatari

This feels like on of those anime that has so many layers to it that its hard to fully grasp it's full prowess in one watch. All I know is that I really liked it and I want more. This is definitely an anime that some people will love and some will hate, its hectic, its sometimes unintelligible, it's highly intelligent, but it doesn't require you to be. The style of editing used in this is very unique and I loved it, can see why some people wouldn't though. The characters in this are all very unique and fun, they almost seem like a caricaturebut with a lot more depth to them, I mean that in a good way. The plot while not anything fancy, is just simple enough to follow along but weird enough to be interesting. The dialogue in this is amazing, maybe the best in any anime I've watched, its quick, its witty and it makes full use of language itself to make different jokes or refer to different things, and with lots of monologues which I love. With it all said and done I think I'll need to rewatch this one day later on, maybe read the light novel if I end up loving the whole series. I've heard mixed opinions on the rest of the series so I guess I'll see how that goes for me.
