I've seen this over different periods in my life. The first was when I was a young kid and ran home from school to get there in time to watch it. I really liked it. It was also my first experience with this type of Anime or Japanese Cartoons or Animation and I really did love the story line that I've never seen in animated shows before. It was unique. Even though the art work was crude though it was a sign of the early times and they made some blunders in it the concept of advanced physics they triedto include made it a good science fiction story.
Like I said I've watched it over different periods in my life. This let me enjoy it as I matured and got more into the storyline as I aged. It's been a good show to re watch every few years or so.
