Review of A Certain Magical Index

All you really need to know is that Index sets the scene pretty well for the far superior side-acts, those being Accelerator and Railgun. I dropped it a few years ago, and only picked it up in order to enhance my experience in watching Railgun and Accelerator. It was worth it, since, as average as this anime is, it does a lot of world-building. As a standalone, I really would not call this anime good. Touma is your typical carefree schoolboy and index is just annoying from the get-go. Touma is also written to be a little clueless at times, making him a bit annoying too.He's like a harem boy who got lost in an action/superpower anime. Anyway, watch it if the Railgun and Accelerator routes pique your interest. Otherwise, don't bother.
