Review of High School DxD

Highschool DXD is really underrated in my opinion. Although it's often mentioned as "pure echii" people fail to see the creativity and the original concept that the anime has taken. Sure, it's easy to just ignore all the good points and say "this anime is only about oppai", but I beliebe there is more to that. While the story start in a simple way, it quickly develop a far more serious tone. It begin in a "ultimate harem" anime and we can see the great world building and the very unique way that the plot is displayed. While I can understand why people would drop itin early stage, they should try at least get to the last three episodes.

The characters are simply amazing. Whether it's the cool rias, the pervert akeno or the quiet koneko. With issei they all begin as a mere overused archtypes characters but as the show goes on we can see that they are growing as a person, espeacially issei. And if I already talk about Issei, in the first episodes he is misjudged as a hopeless pervert but we can see later on that he really cares about other people and trying to achieve his dream (even if his dream is stupid)

The animation is OK for this show, nothing much about that. The art is great, all the girls are simply beautiful. The soundtrack wasn't so memorable, but the op and ed were great.

In conclusion, I think that people don't see the true merit of DXD, only because some boobs hide it from them. I will end this by saying-give oppai a chance.
