Review of Whisper of the Heart

I don't know why but I just couldn't get into this movie. It had all the ingredients to get me invested but It just didn't happen. The characters over all i found were forgettable and the story seems to jump from middle to end rather quickly. The one thing i really did enjoy though as always with ghibli was the art and animation, even in a mostly real setting they some how still make the worlds feel magic ad full of life. The ending shot overlooking Tokyo was amazing and I could look at that all day. Perhaps this deserves a second viewing but Ican't see that happening any time soon as i just fell away around the middle point after a good start. Over all a 6/10 for me
