Actually this is a very good OVA. On same level as the original series (Kakyuusei 1999) and in some ways maybe even better. I liked this OVA even more than original series. I'll start by saying that this is a great romance anime. If you want a beautiful, non-clichéd romance - then this is the perfect choice. High quality art style, cute girls (and also main character's beloved girl is very beautiful and her feelings and emotions were conveyed really good here), a lot of good ecchi (and this is good part of any anime), main character is not an idiot or coward as often in romantic anime, heis cool guy, good soundtrack, retro vibes of 90s anime - this is the perfect set for a romance anime!

Yes, there are some bad moments here, but in fact they are quite insignificant, the biggest drawback for me is the scene with Ai in the hotel (you'll understand what i mean when you watch). But i prefer to think that this was Ai's dream (this is not a spoiler, its just a warning for a short gloomy scene that will happen in third episode).
Otherwise, the characters behave quite adequately, the visual quality is good and this anime is worth every second spent on it.

Although this is an OVA and there is also a main 12-episode series, this OVA can be watched separately, even if there are characters from the main series, but chronologically its not connected with it and its more of an alternative story arc.

So if you want really good romance anime, love cute girls, not afraid of ecchi moments and you like retro anime aesthetics - this anime is definitely for you.
