Review of Detroit Metal City

The premise of the show is very interesting. A struggling pop singer who decides to work as a death metal singer. Hilarity ensues. The art style and the animation in general is fairly crude, but it kind of works with the general crudeness of the anime. The comedy is most crude toilet humor, but it works for the most part. Do not go in expecting the pinnacle of sophistication, you will be disappointed. Fairly episodic, but there is one general story which is extremely simple and easy to follow. Music is over the top and vert crude to the point of parody, you simply cannottake this show seriously at all. If you want an anime with over the top crude humor, then this fits the bill very well.
