Review of Hunter x Hunter

My ranking for each arc starting from the best: 1.YorkNew City Arc The Phantom Troupe villains are great that's all I have to say. Kurapika is also more focused this time around and it's enjoyable seeing his true potential with his nen ability and him finally achieving his goal he has from the start of the show. 2.Election Arc Killua's brother is cute and in the same time frightening especially his powers but the bond between him and Killua is nice and Leorio is back after absent for two whole arcs in the show and he is still great as ever. Kurapika though is unfortunately absentutil like 5 seconds at the end throughout the arc which is a shame considering that all the other characters appears as cameo in this and this also might be the last time we saw these characters. This is also does serve as a nice enough conclusion to the show with Gon finally metting his dad and all that since that was his orginal goal in the first place even though the manga is still ongoing. Though it probably will talke a while till we get the animated continuation of the show (or never at all who knows)

3.Chimera Ant Arc
Really love the genuine and wholesome bond between the King and the kid and this is where most of the impressive fight scene takes place throughout the show like the fight between the Chairman and the King and the fight between Gon and Pitou and he even grows long hair and that's pretty cool. The Chimera Ants themselves are also nice threatening enemies and their powers are pretty cool like the dart fish one that is pretty unique and I like how some of them even helps the main protaganist. Though I do admit it does take a while for the story to keep going and the earlier episodes kinda dragged with the training arc but still a banger arc.

4.Hunter Exam Arc
The first arc of the show and what a great way to start it. The main four characters are great and I love the chemistry and interactions between them. The Hunter Exam isselves can also be pretty damm fun with the challenges and games it presented. I guess there is this one asshole character who purposely joins every year to be a prick to others and he is kinda annoying but he does serves as a nice enough obstacle for the others so he's fine I suppose. And Leorio joins Obake from Steins Gate as characters who look like middle aged men but are actually 19 and 18 years old which is way younger than they look.

5.Greed Island Arc
Villains who are just straight up assholes are great and Genthru is pretty much that, especially if he has a satisfying enough comeuppance in the end. Bisky is also a fun character and a good teacher to Gin and Killua, she also becomes buff at one point and that sure is hysterica to watch.

6.Heavens Arena Arc
Hisoka is pretty sus in this but as tournament arc of anime goes it's pretty good. The Nen system is pretty unique and it's cool how each character have their own specific nen types of abilities.

7.Zoldyck Family Arc
It's a short arc compared to the others so can't really say much of it. Keep in mind that isn't really a single HxH arc that I would call bad so even is this lowest ranked it's still pretty good. It reveals more Killua's family even the Discord mod character

Overall pretty solid show.
