Review of High School of the Dead

This show is everything I could hate in an anime- so why did I watch the whole thing? Story: The Story is Getting from point A to point B. This is also a harem anime. Though I detest harem anime this one is more than that- Character: It feels like it never intended for you to care about their characters. NONE- NOT A SINGLE CHARACTER had a likable personality, third of all their personalities were that they were in love with the male lead, half is generic anime tropes, and the last half was boobs and panty shots. I could probably tell you which character is whichjust by looking at their boobs because they make you stare at each pair so much, I wouldn't doubt it if you see their boobs and panties more than their actual faces.

THE LEAD: I have to share this because I really detest it. When you're first introduced to the male lead, he has to show his woman that he's in charge and she's gonna listen. He hits her in the face. They talk about 'being a man' and taking care of things and all that- showing him hitting her made it hard for me to continue watching. I did, and honestly at the end of the day I barely remember anything else about him.

Art: Everything is really well drawn and detailed but there's no originality in character designs.

Enjoyment: MmMMM I honestly laughed a lot and there's a few scenes that still stand out to me from the show. This shows efforts are focused on getting you those anime tiddy shots and it can be a wild trip to see it. I can't recommend this show, I wouldn't watch it again, it didn't change my life, it didn't show me anything new. It was *ok*. There's worse harem anime out there.
