Jungle De Ikou! · review
First, I wouldn't rate this anime as R, PG-13 would be more appropriate because there's no sex and the most revealing thing we see is Natsumi's panties. I really loved this anime because there were plenty of moments that made me laugh and the characters are so great I just wanted to keep watching. The story is great because when you first here about Ongo from the old man that gives Natsumi her powers you automatically assume he's going to be evil and the antagonist of the story, but his personality is the complete opposite of what I expected. Furthermore, the old man's warning foreshadowsthe ending which made me wonder how could a character as funny as Ongo be evil? Plus, the anime has a good fluent plot despite the fact it's only three episodes long, I've seen some animes 50 episodes long with worse story than this.
This anime also follows a pattern I've seen with magical girl animes which is the heroine has very poor control of her powers. Magic was the source of some of the funniest moments is the anime because I could never tell what would happen next and I was amazed at how fast things started off calm and turned into a catastrophe.
The only thing I wish is that this anime was longer because I really wanted to know these characters more. Also, there are some parts in this anime, particularly the dance Natsumi does, that may have been too ecchi.
This anime isn't for everyone because there's some parts some people might find too dirty, but the anime isn't just about boobs and can be really funny. Plus, the whole anime is only 90 minutes long so it's the perfect thing to watch if you have nothing to do. I really hope they make a sequel some day.
