Clover · review
The greatness of Clover can't definitely be delved into with that short of a runtime. However, what is unacceptable is that they don't even try to. Plot: The four-leaf Clover is powerful and thus kept alone. Someone comes to deliver her and he dies during their escape. That's all happens, but it isn't even developed. The plot starts a beginning of something deeper about the meaning of life, freedom, or something, but the lacking dialogues and the nearly empty script make the thing woefully underdeveloped. Music: As its a music video, the music lasts all 6. It consists in a very soft piano+voice. However, like all this music video, its nearly empty, The singer's voice is great, but I waited forever for the song to really start, which never happened.
Art:
The animation is a mix of 3D and cel-shading, both which are good for their period, but they clearly don't mix together at all.
This music video is nearly empty from beginning to end, which contrasts a lot with the other CLAMP ones I have seen. They made a song that should have lasted 2mn into 6.
