I will be posting the exact same review for the other season, as I viewed them as one season. So with that our of the way, I will begin the review. Fate/zero is undoubtedly a fantastic anime. There was almost nothing wrong with the anime, but i wouldn't say it is quite perfection. Story(8/10) One of the things that makes this story so unique is that it adapts to the lore of the legends within it. I found myself looking into the background of many of the 'servants,' which REALLY brought the world to life within the anime. If you aren't interested in that, the story could dropdown to a 7. With a few good twists and an interesting concept, the story is certainly a good one. The anime is well-paced and you will be always interested in its event, wondering what is going to happen next, even though you know the end result from fate/stay night, the journey is still well executed and ever changing.

Art(9/10)
The art really is gorgeous in this anime. The colors are nice, the smooth animation is excellent, and the character design is really quite great. However, that only warrants an 8 in my opinion. What really got my attention were the effects. The lighting of spells, the fire, the glow of the sword were captivating. Th effects during battle were absolutely excellent, and that is what brings a 9 to the art.

Sound(8/10)
This may not be a music anime, but that does not mean the music wasn't great. The music itself was perfectly fitting in each moment, really bringing forth the emotions of the viewer, helping you to relate to the characters. Music aside, the sound effects were also really good, especially during combat.

Character(8/10)
Th characters are really what make this anime. None of them feel too typical or stereotyped. All of them are unique compared to many other anime I have seen. They each had an interesting backstory, motives, and goals. ate/zero is what it is because of the characters within it. Th story is manipulated and pulled by the actions of the characters, just as it should be.

Enjoyment(8/10)
Fate/Zero was a really fun show to watch. The only complaint I have is the balance between dialogue and combat. I really wish there was more combat, and that the combat itself was more intense. Aside from that, the show at least remained interesting during its slow moments, making up for the lack of combat.

This is one anime that you will not forget. The beautiful art, a good story, and excellent characters, Fate/zero brings everything to the table. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys an emotional anime with strong story and character elements. If I could not recommend this to anyone, though, it would be to people looking for something life altering or relaxing. If you plan to calm down at the end of the day, or have your mind blown, this is not the anime for you.
