Review of Fate/Zero

I'll do my best to make this review short and sweet. Story: When I realised it involved past warrios fighting a war in the modern world I was quite skeptical as it was something new. But the story managed to incorporate past and present elements so well that I can do nothing but give it its full credit. Sound: OP is a banger. Ed is good but nothing special. Character: Compared to ubw and heaven's feel. There are several main charactrers instead. This allows more thorough insight of characters at the expense of viewing things from a single perspective which may be good or bad depending on your style. Enjoyment: Enjoyable forone who enjoys a bit of philosophy, mixed with a good balance of action and diagloue.

Overall: A solid 8 as the story and character development were good but how some characters got more screen time than others despite not being as interesting in my opinion is what prevents this show from getting a 10. The only logical reason would be that the writer will give them their deserved screen time in the next season istead.

Tldr: If you came here expecting the same level of action as ubw or heaven's feel, forget it as this is more of a seinen than shounen. If you enjoy philosophical dialogue mixed with some action, then this is a must watch
