Review of Akira

I wanted to know what the big hype was about, unfortunately, contrary to popular opinion I'm not all impressed I get that it's a "classic". The art to render this was before the time of CGI, so a lot of hard work went into this. Only one scene sticks out in my head, it involves a transformation on a large scale which was very disturbing, to say the least. Other than that the storyline was forgettable. I couldn't really care for any of the characters due to them being generic. Nor did I care for any of their relationships with one another. As far as I remember they had blandrelationships, over bland reasons.

Red jackets, motorcycle & distance bromance are the overall vibes I got from this. I guess you have to be a hipster to love this.
