Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

Didn't have a massive cultural impact on anime for no reason. This is, IMO, the best Anime that was ever made. I've rewatched this series almost five times and it never fails to make its impact. I recognize that this anime probably won't hit the same for everyone and that my own experiences with mental health were a big factor in my enjoyment, but I still recommend this Anime as a must-watch for any Anime fan. Especially if you deal with mental health issues. All of the characters feel very real, especially as the story progresses. I wouldn't go in expecting classic archetypes, or badass characters,as they are very much a cast of real, oftentimes broken, individuals.
