Review of Hunter x Hunter

"Completed" can´t really be said about HxH since it isn´t over yet, but for know, it was a really fine odyssey. it is funny to see people saying HxH is "just another shonen" when it was fisrt published in 1998, with a really great drawing style and a really inventive concept of power scalling and power concept, with nen power system. Those people will probably watch Alien (1979) and say that "they have watched that other times". Yes, my man, you have watched inspirations on it for your whole life, it doesn´t make Togashi´s work worst. And I didn´t even talk about how deep this shonengoes. Killua´s family background, Gon been optmistic even been raised without a family, the ant´s arc... wow! Just watch it.

But of course, not everything is perfect, and I can be very brief on why HxH is a 8/10 series until now... Greed island arc. As far as I´m concerned, people generally don´t have a problem with it, but for me... dude, that was kinda boring, and the adaptation didn´t have the willing to make it a bit faster, they wanted to adapt frame by frame apparently. Despite that, I can only point the overused sound tracks and the not very inspired animation, that could look very pale sometimes. In overral, not bad, just mediocre sometimes

Conclusion

It will be necessary to wait the ending of the series, but for now, I can assure it is one of the best shonen animes of all time.
