Review of My Love Story!!

I have no clue why I waited so many years to watch this show, but I'm glad I finally got around to it! As a fan of the shojo genre, I'm used to all the different character molds for both female and male protagonists and love interests, and this somehow manages to go completely outside of the box! A male protagonist is a rarity in shojo, especially one that is not "conventionally attractive", and it's even rarer for a male character like that to have someone fall in love with them literally at first sight! Despite this, it doesn't feel forced at all, and thelove between the two characters is believable and above all else- adorable!

This love story is completely wholesome and unique, a slow slice of life that is still exciting with plenty of funny moments, and characters that are easy to grow attached to. A great watch for those who want to slow down and enjoy something with little conflict and plenty of cute moments!
