So, a watchable sub only exist just around the past few days, maybe that why this movie get so many negative review and said it confused. So i decide to clear thing up with a short review: It no way that bad. First, let me explain -what this movie : it is not a reboot. it is a multiverse timeline. -Do you need to watch the original show to understand it ? You should. You may still understand but will lack of knowledge a bunch of stuff. I mean The heroine Euruka is the "vilain" you will don't know their motive. But the originalshow is enough, that is the only one i watch and jump right to this and i can. So you can. I think the first movie is skip-able too
-Do the story confuse ?
maybe, but take me 5 minutes to look back and i get it. While i understand what happen, There is few thing i don't under how it work. But to be fair, the original just as confuse. Come on, they take forever to finally explain anything and i still don't know a bunch of thing.

Now here we go
Story: There will be spoiler, but i think you should read this if you want thing less confuse. I will try to keep the spoiler not ruin your experiment watching the movie. So: Anemone in this timeline is the main pilot to fight back a giant robot to save mankind. But not directly. She pilot inside a Matrix like world. So yeah, as she beat Euruka in the videogame, the giant monster in real life somehow will go away as well. And i did say it is multiverse right, that matrix are a real world. And the giant robot keep coming back because Euruka recreate the said world (despite knowing the destruction of itself)...

Animation: They are very good animation. The 3d is not that much noticeable. Yes, there are few reuse footage from original show. But unlike the first movie of this Trilogy, there are not a lot. And it is actually creative and even help the narrative. So don't too hard on them, if you a fan of original, i think you should grateful for more.

Conclusion: While there are still thing i don't know how it work (still understand what going on) but so was the original. At least, it clearly a good production. So for now, i think 8 is a fair point
