Review of Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic-

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic (2022) Hands down the best season of any show I have ever watched so far, at least in this genre. One of my favourite shows is SNAFU and that is again an absolute masterpiece but for an entirely different reason. Many shows exist at this level and this one has its own niche. Between the two shows, the climax here is just unheard of at the level this show does it and is truly something to look forward to. I love everything from the extreme development to the various plotlines of characters that actually matter and you want to see. Newcharacters introduced that actually stick around! The OP and ED are awesome, like how on earth did they get permission to do Starship Troopers! Like damn!.

More sensible now.

The story is a continuation, they do skip some things, not everything can be animated and some things perhaps in its age category for airing are not going to be suitable. Japan has odd categories of what can and can't be shown I find sometimes.

The art is crisp, well done, hilarious and serious. It is a show that will age well enough I reckon I could show it to my kids and they would think it is new in 10 years plus.

The sound is so full of depth, on surround sound, it is awesome to listen to. The voices are fantastic, some real hard-working actors here. The director has done a great job with their staff.

The characters, the usual set develop like crazy, Yuu Ishigami yes! you go brother! Miko Iino developing more than ever before seen in this show. Maki Shijo, what a character to introduce, at first I thought oh? and now she is a full on staple of the show. So many things happen in this show and so many unique characters show sides you just don't expect.

Every single episode brings something hilarious, even the extended trailer for the show about Otaku was beyond hilarious and I have watched it at least 5 times. The laser beams, the random explosions, the random everything that happens within what seems to be a normal romantic comedy is just beyond amazing.

I personally read the manga and love it. I would recommend people do, you see the bits they miss. The show seems to be getting a 4th season, I hope they can keep it going on and on until it finishes and then I will buy the best version of its blu ray to keep as a fond memory of this show as an entirety.

10/10. Also the arm wrestling was absolutely hilarious look foward to that episode too.
