Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Frieren is a story about an elf who travelled and fought beside her human companions, outlived them all and is now trying to understand them, their actions, words, feelings through another journey with another human beings. Frieren doesn't have an unusual setting, nor a world building moment. Its characters (elves, men, dwarfs, demons, monsters) and their magical prowess are typical parts of fantasy worlds. Spells - their origin and the way they work, and human-demon and other relations aren't really explained. That's because focus of the story isn't showing and explaining worlds, different races and how their magic works. The sole focus of anime named Frierenis character development - Frieren's understanding of humans, their feelings, ability to love and care for eachother.
