Review of Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld Part 2

A very mixed feeling after watching the finale of the alicization arc. The animation is of top quality , soundtrack also was filled with intensity and emotions that suit the appropriate scenes. Opening and ending were amazing.However , the amount of plot armor this season had … I couldn’t count the amount of time when something bad was about to happen to the gang and some plot armor shit got pulled out of nowhere just to justify their power boost. This happen to many of the characters especially to yours truly kirito. The battle scenes were amazing , I couldn’t say any shit about iteven if you bribe me but the overused of plot armor was so ridiculous that it sucked the build up and emotions the characters were conveying. I also lost track of the omnipotent powers that were displayed by both the protagonist and antagonist that I couldn't treat the fighting scenes seriously. Overall , SAO alicization arc has turned out to be like a pretty girl but with a dumb personality. It’s nice to look at her and appreciate her beauty however when she opens her mouth to talk, thats when you realised that having a beautiful appearance is not really enough to satisfy your quench in the long run. SAO alicization War of the underworld part 2 was worth the watch but never go into the anime hoping it will lead to a serious and coherent storytelling.
