you don’t like shounen ai/yaoi? nah, that’s not a reason for you to ignore this masterpiece. this anime. this anime called “GIVEN” is one of the best anime. believe me. this anime doesn’t just center the love story of Mafuyu and Ue. it’s about how you, yourself (as Mafuyu) can love again with trust. how you yourself (as Ue) love someone with someone who has still not moved on, and supports them that him/her self can love again with someone without worrying you may leave them again.on how you, yourself (as akihiko) that you need someone or someone needs you for him or for you to continue what you want to do.

oh how you, yourself (as haruki) can handle the pain of loving someone who is already on a relationship

why trust? because as you know, Mafuyu had a relationship before that didn’t quite worked out. he is afraid that you may leave him again.

why support? because for someone to trust you, you need to support them for them to gain trust.
