Review of Redo of Healer

I have mixed feelings for this show. I really do like the overall story of the show. The story is very similar to The Rising of the Shield Hero in that it is a story is one of revenge... albeit much more messed up. The MC becomes OP very early on due to his Healing skills and the combat animations it contains are actually very well designed. He always has a plan that drives him forward to the next act of revenge. However, the Hentai element (don't let the ecchi tag fool you) often takes things wayyyy too far. And it's not only the frequent rapescenes but also the abuse and torture that are present throughout the show. I have a pretty good stomach for this kind of stuff, but some just made me go "holy crap." Now those scenes do an excellent job at justifying his revenge and why he is going as far as he goes with those who have wronged him.

Redo of Healer is both an interesting adventure and trashy smut. I don't know if I would recommend this show to anyone. But I found that it made me uncomfortable in a way that made me think, what of the things the MC did were justified and what did he take too far? It is a line that this show really pushes. If you venture to watch it on your own, that is a question you will ask yourself. So long as you know what you are getting yourself into, I do not think you will be disappointed.
