Review of A Whisker Away

I noticed it on Netflix and I gave it a try, but I thought it was a TV series at first, so I was surprised by the quality of art and whatnot, but since it started so nicely I watched it in one go and I'm glad I picked it up. At first I was rather annoyed by the main heroine as she's too annoying and noisy for my taste, but the story was so captivating I didn't really mind her that much. So while the characters are rather awkward, the plot and the drama are really great. It was refreshing to see a rather uniqueplot unlike the last Shinkai movie - Tenki no Ko, where the drama was basically a copy-paste of his previous movie.

This is a movie you want to watch on the Sunday's evening while under a blanket with a cup if hot cocoa and ice cream.
