Review of Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 2

This anime is fucking great, I don't know why but I think of this phenomenon in our world that a person driven by obsession can do many good things. If anything, a ''smart person'' especially in our history is usually driven by that. The dead fascination by a particular thing therefore dumping all their time into it and letting it be the focus of their life. Putting a shit ton of your eggs into one basket actually pays off. Passion is obsession, and it's beautiful. A personal ideology that pays off for both the person and the world. Clearly MC's personal ideology is whatever getsher books in the most ethical way or at least the meaning to her life. What's your personal ideology? What's mine? What brings you joy? I know there's many people in the world who wakes up every day scouting for dopamine but unable to achieve it, and that's a little sad. AAAA THE SELF HELP INDUSTRY- oh well. Even so, I adore this thing. It has a good plot, there's no male gaze and it's cheery. 10/10
