Review of Suzume
As I've expected from Makoto Shinkai works, the visuals are always gorgeous. But, the main problem is the love story that isn't explored more deeply. Unlike the previous two works entitled "Your Name" and "Weathering with You" where the love story is better because the main character is given time and process to approach, meanwhile in this anime Suzume is made to fall in love at first sight until she is willing to travel Japan to help the boy's task and save him. This is what makes Suzume's motivation in helping her love interest seem too forced. However, the adventures of Suzume and her loveinterest are fun to follow, but the final act feel flat (maybe lacking music). Although the relationship love story of this anime is bad, one thing that caught my attention was the relationship between Suzume and her aunt, I really hope this is explored more, but sadly no.
