I didn't like the male lead at first. I hate mean people in general. However, I understand him feeling salty about his crush constantly feeling scared around him for no real reason. That would break my heart too, but he was a bit too rude, but at least he is aware that he was giving too much of an attitude. The female lead was okay. I was once super shy, so I kind of understand where she is coming from. I loved the idea that Takaya made a connection with her by starting to write anonymous letters to her. He got the idea from thebook she loved. Then he read the other books of the author to connect more with her. Their letters were cute, and the anonymous part didn't drag on for too long, which was nice to see even in a one-shot. They expressed their true feelings to each other at the end, which I loved. It was raw, honest, and genuine. Terao said she wanted to know about the real Takaya, not the anonymous letter sender. That she wanted to know him better before they became a thing. In shoujo one-shots, the main pairing becomes a couple quickly, or they kiss in the first chapter, which I personally don't like. So I loved this manga's epilogue.
