I had high hopes for this movie. It disappointed but not enough to make me hate it. In fact I rather enjoyed it. *THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS* The story had a high amount of plot holes, However, t was a very intreguing story. It may have been bland at some points but it was pretty good. Like I said the plot holes were annoying but if your in for a casual watch it's perfect. The plot drivers were also annoying, not very well backed up and fleshed out, using random emotions such as sympathy. The art was amazing. The animation was top notch and very smooth. Well mostof the animation was at least. The movie relied to much on CGI, and when I say CGI, I mean bad CGI. The main villain, which was a dragon, had really janky movements and looked like they just grabbed a model from a random PS3 game. I felt the same with the dark mages. However, the scenes that used 2D handrawn animtions were so mindblowing it makes up for the bad CGI. The character designs, the fight scenes, the weapons, it was honestly beautiful

The characters were ok, they didn't really have anything special about them. They just through random characters in for the sake of having one. However, there is one character who stood out to me and my friends, and if you don't think he's the best character then you have no taste. That character of course, is Flappy. His character is funny, charming, cute, nice, helpful and very epic gamer. Also his transformation at the end was beautiful

Overall I think this is a decent show with amazing art, interesting story, meh characters (apart from my god, Flappy)
