Review of Fire Force Season 2

The first 7ish episodes can be skipped entirely. I’m not kidding, I wish I did, & you’ll get caught up several times on what went down when the characters talk to each other about it. & don’t worry, if you didn’t know the Empire’s origin story, it’s explained at the beginning of most of the eps AND a second time during one of the eps. Very cool. If you’re really REALLY into shounen anime & full-episode fight scenes you’ll probably like this season a lot. I can’t knock it for what it is, I just wish then that there weren’t so many cuts back andforth between fight x main plot x fight, it made it feel like the fights were just filler.

Felt kinda like if nothing ever happened in the most flashy way possible. I think maybe 2 eps worth of content were relevanf to the plot, & if we discount opening monologue, OP, & ED, that’s maybe 35 minutes?

Liked the Beni eps & eps ~ 7-12.

Overall it was fine.
