Cowboy Bebops meets Samurai's meet Hip-Hop. Truly a masta-piece of an anime. This anime is compared quite a lot to Cowboy Bebop, and it's very true that both animes are very alike. The concept of each episode, is very similar to how Cowboy Bebop formats it's episodes. As each episode starts with some form of character, action, or event that is unknown us as the audience and to the characters. And by the end of each episode, it all ties together solving the questions we asked about the unknown. This way of format was very enjoyable to watch with only a few minor mishaps hereand there, as I thought the ending to Samurai Champloo was a bit, unreal.

The OP and ED is beautifully animated as well as the songs that accompany them. "Battlecry" is definitely a new favorite OP of mine, due to its classic and chill Hip-hop beat. Animation in fights are amazing as well, and perfectly capture each characters movements, ranging from how fast and unorthodox Mugen's movements are, to how calm and swift Jin is.

Overall this is an amazing anime, and you will infidelity enjoy this if you like Cowboy Bebop, Hip-hop Samurai battles, or both.
