Love Flicker · review
A totally okay, nice read. Story: This is an anthology that is very loosely tied together of a few couples and their travails. The premises are fairly standard, though I did get a chuckle out of the rice shop vs bakery plot line. Chemistry: Pretty middle of the road stuff, but each relationship is nice enough. There's not much conflict as these are largely relationships with the two realizing their feelings for one another. It's perfectly fine. Art: Takemiya's style is just distinct enough in a way that separates this from the average as well as overly 3d manga out there. Character designs are pretty good with decentpaneling and enough backgrounds. The art is overall one of the better points of the anthology.
If you're looking for a breezy hour, this is a totally fine manga, but you won't find anything groundbreaking here.
