This anime is overall. I'm not a bad anime. I wouldn't say it's unwatchable but I probably wouldn't recommend this. The first Arc for me was really good. I do think it could've benefited a lot more if it was longer, but unfortunately it isn't as long as in my opinion it should be The main character who crossed dresses as her brother is pretty pathetic in my opinion at first they give her a brother complex then her brother dies then she completely forgets about this complex and moves on because of some guy who told her to move on not once in this anime doesthis girl defend herself? There's always some random character coming to rescue her and from a battle political anime I would expect you give me a strong female lead if you were going to give me a female lead the whole time I was watching this I was like okay is she never going to fucking do anything and people are just gonna come and rescue her not the best choice for an anime of this type
The second arc is something entirely different where they go into modern times it's funny yet weird how they try to connect all of these people in a modern day setting. They do add some references to the old Arc here and there which was fun to catch but I didn't really enjoy the supernatural mysterious shit that was going on. I was here for a political historical anime not to see some supernatural shit
Honestly, it feels like a completely different anime. I think it's good but nothing incredible.
I don't know why they decided it was going to be a good idea to give my dude a crop top like girl. Nobody wants to see your belly button.
Oh my God and the other guy the muscle guy every time shit gets good the red haired guy he comes in he's like interrupting them and it's like girl if you shut the hell up the anime would've ended a long time ago
And same thing with the older arc time the girl is in trouble. There's some guy who's coming to rescue her because this girl does nothing except being a Denzel in distress.
