While a small suspension of disbelief is something to consider for this series, as it is made for a wide audience, this show is like my second Peanuts. It's cozy, looks great, family friendly, been around forever, and with just the right amount of bite to its humor. A cult classic if there ever was one. If you are familiar with Tove Jansson's Moomin book/comic series (and the 1960s animated Moomin series that Tove herself hated) a lot of these episodic stories you'll find familiar since it seems to be crafted directly from the source material. If you're curious about getting into it, I recommend startinghere (and not on Twitter) since you'll get everything you need from it packaged into a cozy show you can watch by the fire (instead of sleeping for the winter). Easy recommend for one of the most influential media series in the eastern part of the world.
