two dads make cute magic food together and take care of each other and their kids AND it gives you recipes at the end of every chapter. literally what more could u want ok the thing is telling me i need to add more information but really if you like the main story (witch hat atelier/とんがり帽子のアトリエ) then you'll love this. i made the egg grilled cheese thing they made in the first volume for lunch the other day and it slapped. later chapters even have drink recipes, recipes for sweets, pasta, you name it. the way this spin-off showcases all kinds of creative uses of thewell-established magic from the main series is so fun, and it really adds to the world-building in a way that feels very natural. if anything you get to watch qifrey and olruggio be cute together. i don't think most of this has been translated into english like the main series has, but if you happen to find it (or if u can read the JPN), go for it.
