I can't believe I'm saying this but this story needs more desperation. Or regret from seme's side. Or a bit more yearning from both the seme and the uke's side. Because as much as I recognize that the story is trying to tweak the usual college BL storyline of 'former best friends who distanced themselves because one of them thought they onesidedly caught feelings but actually it's both of them and then they reunited now and they properly got together', the execution is slightly off. The seme quickly gets clingy again, sure, but he is more confident than desperate, while the uke is more troubled thananxious or regretful. And then the pacing is a bit rushed for a single volume tankoubon.

As a result, the story's vibe shifts away from the reunion story it's trying to tell. This just gives a typical 'college friends with a crush' BL and the main characters' shared past becomes weirdly out of place.

Everything else is pretty solid, though. Art, writing, even pacing is actually decent. Just needs a bit more direction.
