It's incomplete, there is supposed to be a volume 2 according to someone saying there is an authors note at the end of this volume however 3 years later and so far nothing. This ends without them getting in a relationship and the deaf character slowly starting to become interested in the hearing character. It is definitely a good read that makes you feel sad and also think about others peoples perspective, there is an age gap of 10 years - 19 and 29 which I normally really don't like but this one didn't really bother me. Don't bother reading it if you want anending, or them to end up together since that doesn't happen, but hopefully it does in Volume 2. Hopefully the author finishes the story and publishes soon because it is definitely a good read!
