Truthfully, this specific manga was one of the first titles I was exposed to when I was new to manga years ago. This title has been suffering from inconsistent updates over the past six years, getting dropped and picked by multiple translation teams. Now as of 2024 after reading hundreds of Isekai titles, I can conclude that Saikyou no Shoku is very bland. The MC isn't really capable at all, even with his "abilities" somehow he has no capability to get past situations if he is alone. He has to rely on his comrades and it seems like the main characters are the other people and not him. It doesn'thelp the story hasn't been going anywhere, all you get are minor updates and small things.
This happens so much that you will start to lose interest and confirm there are dozens of other titles with better pacing and progress in a mere 10 chapters.

This manga lacks common sense with a weak MC overall, I just can't understand how a manga being one of the first Isekai titles could fall behind so terribly.
