Review of The World God Only Knows

It's a fun series and I can't think of a single reason not to recommend it. Character (10/10) The series is split into 4 mini story arcs and 3 stand alone episodes. The stand alone episodes are the only ones where we see much development from the main characters, those episodes also tend to be the best ones and especially hilarious. Each main story arc also features a 'heroine' who gets a large amount of screen time and development, all of whom are very likeable and well fleshed out. Story (7/10)The main plot is really nothing more that a set-up however each arc has it's own story (naturally) & some are definitely stronger than the others, fortunately those arcs are the longer ones (3 episodes each), however the first 3 episodes are probably the weakest, I hope that doesn't put you off.

Art (8/10)

It's nothing flashy, but it's not needed, everything looks nice enough.

Sound (10/10)

The opening theme is in full English, which is fun & some episodes have special closing credits (Different song, different visuals) relating to the episode that has just finished. It's a really nice touch especially for a series with only 12 episodes.
Voice actors are fine also.

Overall (10/10)

I haven't enjoyed an animé as much in a while, might even re-watch it. can't wait for season 2.
