ANO NATSU DE MATTERU Ano Natsu de Matteru is of those great slice of life anime's that doesn't take it self too seriously. In saying that there are enough emotional moments to grab onto your attention. Pros I found Ano Natsu's comedy to be one of its shining aspects, although I wouldn't call its comedy industry leading, it does enough to get a few giggles out of me each episode. Depending on what type of person you are, you might also enjoy that Ano Natsu doesn't give you definitive solutions to things, some things are interpenetrated differently and although I disliked this type of thing in other anime's,I found that it works rather well here.

Cons
Character development is lacking a little here to be honest. Ano Natsu just sometimes feels bland as the emotional moments are undermined by the lack of character development, especially with the protagonist. I think Ano Natsu would be a lot better of a show if they extended the amount of episodes as it just feels like events were rushed.

Should you watch it?
Ano Natsu is a enjoyable anime overall, I don't particularly love anything it did but there wasn't anything that made be angry either. In the end, I think it's worth a watch especially if you are into the slice of life genre.
