Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
Ladies and gentlemen, get yourself a box of tissues, because at the end of this anime, you will probably be bawling your eyes out. Story: 9/10 The story itself was great. It gives us a group of teenagers who used to be best friends when they were younger, but then moved on and formed their own groups with different people. The anime plot progresses as it shows this group of old friends slowly reconnecting with each other and forming new and stronger bonds together. The only reason I didn't give this a 10/10 is because the plot at the beginning was a bit confusingand slow, but the story overall was amazing.
Art: 10/10
I really loved this anime's art style. It kept it on the genuine side and almost made it seem like all the characters were actually real people. I really enjoyed the detailing and uniqueness of each character. They were all different and they all stood out.
Sound: 10/10
I think that the character's were voiced perfectly and all the sounds were relevant to the scene which was playing. Also, this opening is one of my favorites and fits the anime quite well.
Character: 10/10
Like I mentioned in the Art section of my review, I think that the characters were perfect. They were all a bit different so that's what made it so worthwhile.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I enjoyed this anime quite a lot. The ending had me in tears and questioned my own relationships with my past and current friends. If you're looking for a wonderful anime which you can binge watch, then this is definitely it.
Overall: 10/10
Even if this anime starts out a bit slow, it really makes up for it in the long-run. It's undoubtedly a must watch that will certainty leave you shocked.
