Review of Black Rock Shooter

OKay.......I actually liked this anime alot - the iconic badass twin-tailed chick we see everywhere on the internet. So for me, it was the theme and character design which hooked me into Black Rock Shooter. Indescribable melancholy everytime I watch or listen to the opening song. This abstract ambience and feel of the alternate world was really unique. Story - 8 Alot of values and didactics were embedded within the story with deep meaning about depression, friendship, etc. Although at first it was quite confusing to grasp the plot's path, everything made sense during the later episodes. Art - 10 The fight scenes were of the best I've seenafter many anime, breathtaking transitions and movement, with many vibrant colors and CGi, this makes it one of my favourite anime art.

Sound - 10

Legit my favourite opening song of all time. Along with that, the sad ost played was really emotionally effective. 'Sorrow'

Character - 10

Mostly the character design, I felt that the characters were distinguishable and iconic - with color and personality resemblance. Their abilities displayed during the fight scenes were unique and flashy.

Overall Enjoyment - 10

Will remain as one of my favorite anime, with it's opening.
I realise that this review was crap mainly because it's my first review - also because It's been a long time since I've seen it so I cannot remember the detailed interactions and values
